The biggest Polish website dedicated to hemangiomas

Naczyniaki.pl has been the biggest Polish webpage dedicated to hemangiomas, their treatment and constituted a place of support for people suffering from the affliction for more than ten years. Our client was one of the first to introduce laser therapy in Poland when it was a true novelty.

A few years ago, the site was attacked by Internet bots with which it couldn’t deal. With each passing year, the problem grew more intense, finally escalating and completely shutting down the page. Moreover, technologies creating the page prevented its actualization, created gaps in the security and restrictions in introducing changes.

After consulting with us and performing in-depth analysis, we’ve decided on thorough page rebuilding. After three months of intense work and many tests we’ve reached our goals, which were mainly:
• a complete change of graphic projects adjusted to the newest standards of creating web solutions, and all types of mobile devices,
• creation of user panel controlling added topics, their edition, deleting, and change and answer cracking,
• including an advanced browser facilitating browning with the use of an area of one topic by its name, content, category, user’s name and other (similarly to the Google browser based on the mutually determined parameters of relevancy of chosen topics and answers),
• doctor’s panel (convenient user panel, for doctors who cooperate with our client and answer the questions posted by the users),
• a full security infrastructure (protection against Internet bots, SSL certificate, scanning and compressing of files before sending them to the website, different levels of authorization to the photo previewing and topic management, IP blocks in the area of ”excluded,” advanced authorization system, etc.),
• transfer of a database consisting of around 100 000 records, spam filtring, adding the panel that would enable convenient and effective topic management,
• blog
• newsletter
*new website was equipped with many other minor features such as an option of profile management, topic evaluating, sparing, exchanging messages amongst the users, a map with the clinics treating hemangiomas, etc.

The result of our work was a creation of an intuitive, modern, and transparent platform characterized by a high level of security in relation to the area of our clients activity. The users positively evaluated the ending product, and within the very first days of functioning the questions from people seeking help were published.
